HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09182012 - C.21RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent or designee, to execute a purchase order amendment with Air Products Group to increase the payment limit by $95,000.00, to a new payment limit of $180,000.00 for HVAC air filtration components, for the period from November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of HVAC air filtration components is in the FY 12/13 Facilities Maintenance Budget. (100% General Fund) BACKGROUND: Facilities Management maintains all County buildings. HVAC air filtration is part of this maintenance. Each building maintained by Public Works uses several types and sizes of air filters designed to perform different functions. Filters are designed to help remove pollen, and assist in preventing bio hazards. Solicitation of air filtration components was completed on Bidsync # 1009-001. This is the first of three possible one year extensions allowed.
