HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09112012 - C.10 (2)RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21156 to reactivate, retitle, and reallocate Child Development Teacher Assistant-Project (99W7)(represented) at obsolete salary level M50 0818 ($1,030-$1,251) to Assistant Teacher-Project (CJW4) (represented) at salary level QH5 0461 ($1,640-$1,993). FISCAL IMPACT: Reactivating the Family and Children's Services Assistant Teacher –Project 9MW7 in the Community Services Bureau of the Employment and Human Sservices Department and re-titleing it to Assistant Teacher - Project does not have any fiscal impact. The process is not associated with any cost for the County nor the Department. BACKGROUND: Community Services Bureau previously established and used the classification Family and Children's Services Teacher Assistant - Project. Due to changes in staffing structure, this classification was placed in an inactive status. As part of this restructuring the Bureau is requesting to reactivate the classification of Family and Children's Services Teacher Assistant – Project 9MW7 (retitled 2001) and retitle it to Assistant Teacher – Project, which is a junior level teacher class. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Failure to reactivate the classification of Family and Children's Services Teacher Assistant- Project 9MW7 within the Community Services Bureau does not have any impact on the children. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Reactivating the classification of Family and Children's Services Teacher Assistant- Project 9MW7 within the Community Services Bureau and retiteling it to Assistant Teacher - Project will not have any impact on the children.
