HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09112012 - C.100RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-717-1 with Susan Lessin, M.D., a self-employed individual, effective September 1, 2012, to amend Contract #26-717, to increase the payment limit by $115,000, from $125,000 to a new payment limit of $240,000 with no change in the original term of February 27, 2012 through February 28, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On March 27, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-717 with Susan Lessin, M.D., for the provision of oncology services including clinic coverage, consultation, surgical and/or medical procedures, for the period from February 27, 2012 through February 28, 2013. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-717-1 will allow the Contractor to provide additional oncology clinic coverage services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, through February 28, 2013.
