HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09112012 - C.99RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-704-1 with Mt. Diablo Rheumatology Consultants, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $200,000, to provide professional rheumatology services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. No rate increase. BACKGROUND: On September 27, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-704 with Mt. Diablo Rheumatology Consultants, Inc. to provide professional rheumatology services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers including clinic session, consultation, training and/or medical/surgical procedures, for the period from September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012. Approval of Contract #26-704-1 will allow Contractor to continue providing rheumatology services through August 31, 2013.
