HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09112012 - C.87RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74-341-80(1) with Amarpreet Singh, M.D., (dba Allied Medical and Consultation Services, P.C.), a professional corporation, in an amount not to exceed $300,000, to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services, for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Medi-Cal Funds offset 50% State and 50% Federal. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: In June 2011, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #74-341-80 with Amarpreet Singh, M.D., (dba Allied Medical and Consultation Services, P.C.), to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services, for the period from May 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. Approval of Contract #74-341-80(1) will allow the Contractor to continue to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services through June 30, 2014.
