Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #22-852-10 with Greater Richmond Inter-Faith Program, a non-profit corporation, effective
July 1, 2012, to amend Contract #22-852-9, to increase the payment limit by $35,000, from $141,596 to a new
payment limit of $176,596, with no change in the original term of September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 52% by Federally Qualified Health Centers, 35% US Department of Health and Human
Services Teenage Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) grant and 13% County Communication, Education and Information
(CEI) funds. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing direct consultation, technical assistance
and implementation of health education activities at various high schools.
On October 4, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #22-852-9 with Greater Richmond Inter-Faith
Program for the period from September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012, for the provision of consultation

Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #22-852-10 will allow the Contractor to provide additional services
through August 31, 2012.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, direct consultation to school-based health center programs will not be provided to
coordinate health education activities at various high schools throughout Contra Costa County.
