HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09112012 - C.76RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Interim Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with STAND! for Families Free of Violence to extend the contract term from August 31, 2012 to December 31, 2012 with no change in the payment limit of $239,000. FISCAL IMPACT: $239,000: 100% Federal Department of Justice grant (CFDA 16.590), no County costs. BACKGROUND: The Zero Tolerance for Domestic Violence Initiative (ZTDVI) received funds from the Department of Justice, Office on Violence against Women, Community-Defined Solutions to Violence Against Women Project. The ZTDVI is engaging the Contractor to assist in carrying out activities consistent with the funding application. This amendment extends the contract period to enable Contractor to complete contracted services. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Contractor will be unable to complete contracted services.
