APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Interim Director, or designee, to execute a
contract amendment with STAND! for Families Free of Violence to extend the contract term from August 31, 2012 to
December 31, 2012 with no change in the payment limit of $239,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$239,000: 100% Federal Department of Justice grant (CFDA 16.590), no County costs.
BACKGROUND:
The Zero Tolerance for Domestic Violence Initiative (ZTDVI) received funds from the Department of Justice, Office
on Violence against Women, Community-Defined Solutions to Violence Against Women Project. The ZTDVI is
engaging the Contractor to assist in carrying out activities consistent with the funding application.
The primary purpose of the Zero Tolerance for Domestic Violence, Community-Defined Solutions to Violence
Against Women Project is to develop
