BACKGROUND:
The previous Personnel Technician incumbent was a long term temporary employee. The department is
requesting to add a position and fill permanently. Personnel Technicians provide technical personnel support to
the Personnel Analysts, monitor and prepare personnel actions, process agency and county temporary staff,
oversee management benefits, and handle the processing for special employment programs, e.g., Title V.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved the department will experience significant delays in processing and managing
personnel matters.
