HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08212012 - C.49RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74-108-15 with Arman Danielyan, M.D., Inc., in an amount not to exceed $150,000, to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services, for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Medi-Cal Funds offset 50% State and 50% Federal. BACKGROUND: On January 14, 1997, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution #97/17, authorizing the Health Services Director to contract with the State Department of Mental Health to assume responsibility for Medi-Cal specialty mental health services. Responsibility for outpatient mental health specialty services involves contracts with individual, group and organizational providers to deliver these services. Under Contract #74-108-15, the Contractor will provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services through June 30, 2014.
