FISCAL IM PACT: None. BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa Commission for Women was established on February 28, 1989 to identify major economic, educational and social concerns of women in Contra Costa County, to reach and inform all women on a variety of issues. The Commission consists of twenty-six members, one from each Supervisorial District, twenty at-large.
