Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#27-883 with Mt. Diablo-Solano Oncology Group Medical Associates, a professional corporation, in an amount not
to exceed $1,000,000 to provide professional hematology/oncology services for the Contra Costa Health Plan for the
period from August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan (Health Plan) member premiums. Costs depend upon
utilization. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized professional health care services for its members
under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County. Under Contract
#27-883, Contractor will provide professional hematology/oncology services to Contra Costa Health Plan members,
through July 31, 2014.
