Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21137 to cancel Information System Specialist II position #11363 and add
one Systems Software Analyst I position (LWWA) at salary level ZB5 1787 ($6096.52 - $7410.35) in the Health
Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $43,244, including pension costs of $10,197,
and will be funded with Federal Electronic Medical Records monies.
BACKGROUND:
The Systems Software Analyst I position will be assigned to the Information Technology Division and will serve as
the Division's LanDesk Administrator. Duties of the position will include: administering and maintainung LANDesk
Management Suite and Service Desk applications; implementing new versions/releases of LANDesk sofware; writing
custom scripts for LANDesk software package pushes and testing them in a virtual environment; scheduling and
monitoring software pushes and updates; and writing queries and reports as required. The Information Systems
Specialist II position is vacant and is being cancelled as a cost offset.
