Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21141 to add one Administrative Analyst position (APWA) at salary level
ZB5 1277 ($3679.40 - 4472.33) in the Health Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $93,045, including pension costs of $19,052,
and will be fully funded with health plan member premiums.
BACKGROUND:
In order to meet the increased reporting demands by the Department of Healthcare Services regarding case
management mandated activities, the case management unit of the Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) needs an
administrative analyst position. This position will be responsible for gathering and tabulating data from multiple
sources, analyzing data and making recommendations to the department manager, and conducting work flow
improvement studies. This position will also meet with other CCHP department management to coordinate joint
reporting requirements and process coordination.
