HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07242012 - C.79RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Sheriff-Coroner, a purchase change order with Hammons Supply Company, to extend the termination date from June 30, 2012 to September 30, 2012 and increase the payment limit by $30,000 to a new payment limit of $705,000 for miscellaneous janitorial supplies used in the County's detention facilities. FISCAL IMPACT: $30,000. 100% General Fund; Budgeted. BACKGROUND: Hammons Supply Company provides miscellaneous janitorial products and equipment used in the adult detention facilities. The detention facilities purchase janitorial supplies for over 2,000 inmates. Purchasing is currently bidding janitorial supplies. This purchase change order will ensure uninterrupted service until new vendors are awarded a bid. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: No impact.
