HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07242012 - C.71RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-573-3 with Dominic Ciotola, a sole proprietor, in an amount not to exceed $160,000, to provide instruction of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) courses for selected Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Contra Costa Health Center staff for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On July 7, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-573-1 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #26-573-2) with Dominic Ciotola (dba CPR Training Center), for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2012 to provide instruction of American Heart Association-approved CPR courses including, but not limited to, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Pediatric Cardiac Life Support (APCLS) Courses for CCRMC staff.
