HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07242012 - C.43RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract, including mutual indemnification, with the Contra Costa Water District in an amount not to exceed $300,000 to provide law enforcement services at the Los Vaqueros Reservoir for the period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: $300,000 Revenue. No net County cost. Budgeted. BACKGROUND: Since October 1999, the Sheriff's Office has provided law enforcement services to the Contra Costa Water District at the Los Vaqueros Reservoir. These services have been provided by a Sheriff's Ranger in the past.
