HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07242012 - C.39RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21117 to add one (1) Deputy Sheriff-40 Hour (6XWA) position (represented) at salary level VHX 1688 ($5298.05 - $6600.81) in the Field Operations Bureau in the Office of the Sheriff. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval of this action, the annual cost for position will be approximately $198,462. and will be 100% paid by the Contra Costa County Water District. BACKGROUND: The Office of the Sheriff currently provides limited services from non-sworn personnel to the Contra Costa County Water District, Los Vaqueros Reservoir. The Contra Costa County Water District has contracted with the Office of the Sheriff to increase services to provide a full-time Deputy Sheriff in place of the non-sworn personnel, therefore the Office of the Sheriff is requesting to add one full time Deputy Sheriff position to the Field Operations Bureau – Patrol Division to meet the needs of the contract request.
