FISCAL IMPACT: Workers' Compensation Internal Service Fund payment of $140,000, less permanent disability advances. BACKGROUND: Attorney Mark R. Peterson, defense counsel for the County, has advised the County Administrator that within authorization an agreement has been reached settling the workers' compensation claim of Sharon Goldsmith v. Contra Costa County Health Services Department and Contra Costa County Risk Management. The Board's July 24, 2012, closed session vote was: Supervisors Piepho, Mitchoff and Glover – Yes; Supervisors Anderson and Gioia - Absent.
