HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07312012 - C.32RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74–447 with Viva Transcription Corporation., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $165,000 to provide medical transcription services, for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing expert medical transcription services necessary to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act accommodations for County staff with disabilities. Contractor provides medical transcription services for designated psychiatrists and therapists working in Mental Health Outpatient Clinics. Services were formerly performed by Windrex Transcription Inc under contract #74-185. Under Contract #74–447 Contractor will provide medical transcription services through June 30, 2013.
