HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07312012 - C.28RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #22-954-13 with Neighborhood House of North Richmond, a non-profit corporation, effective April 1, 2012, to amend Contract #22-954-12, to increase the payment limit by $85,000, from $25,000, to a new payment limit of $110,000, and extend the term from June 30, 2012 through February 28, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Amendment is funded 100% by Federal Ryan White HIV/AIDS Extension Act of 2009. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: In March 2012, the County Administrator approved and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #22-954-12, with Neighborhood House of North Richmond, for the period from March 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012, for the provision of support services for County residents diagnosed with HIV disease, including medical van transportation services. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, County residents with HIV disease will not receive substance abuse assessment services from this vendor.
