APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute Agreements with City of Concord for the
period of June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013, and the Cities of Pittsburg, Walnut Creek, and the Town of Moraga for
the period of April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2013, for the Support Services Bureau, Background Unit to perform
pre-employment screenings.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Estimated Revenue.
BACKGROUND:
The Support Service Bureau, Background Unit performs pre-employment screenings for job applicants. The City of
Pittsburg, City of Concord, City of Walnut Creek, and the Town of Moraga Police Departments will use our
Background Unit's services to perform these screenings for job applicants in accordance with the terms of the
Agreement.
The County will act solely in an investigative capacity, for the purpose of providing information to the Agency for
employment decisions.
