ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21114 to transition one (1) Mental Health Vocational Counselor II -
Project (VQV2) (represented) at salary level QT5 1552 ($4,830 - $5,592) position #12726 and incumbent into the
Merit System in the Health Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, there will be no additional cost associated with this action. This position continues to be funded by a
contract with the California State Department of Rehabilitation.
BACKGROUND:
The Health Services Department is requesting to transition Mental Health Vocational Counselor II - Project position
#12726 and incumbent D. Woodland into the merit system. The incumbent has been in this project position since
February 2006 and meets the criteria for transfer into the merit system as outlined in the Personnel Management
Regulations, Section 1603. This position is assigned to the Vocational Services Program and is fully funded through
a contract with the California State Department of Rehabiliation. Funding is stable and will be ongoing.
