HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06262012 - C.116RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-391-7 with Laura Swafford, self-employed individual, effective February 1, 2012, to amend Contract #23-391-6, to increase the payment limit by $70,000, from $75,000 to a new payment limit of $145,000, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise I Budget. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: In August 2011, County Administrator Approved and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #23-391-6 with Laura Swafford for the period from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, for the provision of consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard to development of a strategic communications plan for the Epic Electronic Health Record System. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, the Contractor will not be paid for additional hours of services and the Department will not benefit from the Contractor’s expertise.
