HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06262012 - C.82RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Complete Imaging Systems, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $600,000, for fax and copier supplies and repairs throughout the Health Services Department, for the period of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: Complete Imaging Systems, Inc. has been providing supplies and repairing the County’s fax machines and other equipment for the past ten years. Departments with repair needs call the vendor, who comes immediately to the location to repair the machine. Complete Imaging Systems, Inc. also sells printer and fax cartridges at a lower rate than other vendors. It is essential that the Department’s fax machines and printers are kept operating and that new cartridges be available at a competitive price when needed. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Purchase Order is not approved, Health Services will be greatly hampered in its ability to conduct business.
