HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06262012 - C.34RECOMMENDATION(S): APPOINT the Dyana Bhandari to the At-large 1 seat and Peter Maund to the At-Large 2 seat on the Arts and Culture Commission of Contra Costa County, with terms expiring on June 30, 2015, as recommended by the Family and Human Services Committee. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. BACKGROUND: The Board of Supervisors established the Arts and Culture Commission in December 1994 to advise the Board in matters and issues relevant to arts and culture and to promote arts and culture as a vital element in the quality of life for all of the citizens of the County. The Commission consists of eight members: two At Large members, one member nominated by each Supervisorial District, and one alternate. Terms are for four years.
