HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06262012 - C.22RECOMMENDATION(S): RECEIVE this report and AUTHORIZE payment in the amount of $949.99 for the loss suffered to employee Neal Price's personal property that was damaged beyond repair while performing HazMat duty. FISCAL IMPACT: Liability Internal Service Fund payment of $949.99. BACKGROUND: Sharon Hymes-Offord, Risk Manager for the County, recommends payment for personal property sustained by our County worker. The matter has been investigated by the Risk Management Division of the County Administrator's Office and determined that payment is appropriate under the Compensation for Loss or Damage to Personal Property Policy as outlined in the County Administration Bulletin 518.2. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The County employee would experience difficulty performing his job duties.
