ATTESTED: June 26, 2012 David Twa, County Administrator and Clerk of the Board of Supervisors By: STACEY M. BOYD, Deputy cc: Maureen Flores, Real Estate Division C. 16 To:Board of Supervisors From:Julia R. Bueren, Public Works Director/Chief Engineer Date:June 26, 2012 Contra Costa County Subject:Amendment to the Grant of Easement with Central Contra Costa Sanitary District and Contra Costa County, Concord area. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) 2009 which was recorded on July 1, 2009 Document Series No. 2009-0155602, Official Records. The easement called for one 96-inch concrete pipe for sanitary sewer conveyances and one 10-inch high-density polyethylene pipe for recycled water conveyances located within the Buchanan Field Airport property. The District, through studies, found that usage of recycled water is higher than originally anticipated. Therefore, it is essential that they increase the size of their recycled water pipe within their easement. The District has asked the County to amend the 2009 Grant of Easement to reflect the changes in the size of the recycled water pipe from the original 10-inch high-density polyethylene pipe to a 14-inch high-density polyethylene pipe. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The District will not have the right size pipe to handle the recycled water. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable. ATTACHMENTS Amendment to Grant of Easement
