HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06052012 - C.93RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23–455–3 with ACS Consultant Company, Inc. (dba ACS Healthcare Solutions), a corporation, effective June 1, 2012, to amend Contract #23–455 (as amended by Contract Amendment/Extension Agreements #23-455-1 and #23-455-2), to increase the payment limit by $2,000,000, from $6,500,000, to a new payment limit of $8,500,000, with no change in the original term of October 1, 2009 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: Funding for this Amendment is fully paid for from the Medicare & Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program of the American recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). No change in the fee schedule or rates. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Company, Inc. (dba ACS Healthcare Solutions), for the period from October 1, 2009 through June 30, 2013, for the provision of professional consultation and technical support for the Department’s Health Services Information System. Approval of Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23–455–3 will allow the Contractor to provide additional services through June 30, 2013. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not be able to provide additional EPIC Electronic Medical Records installation services which will cause delay in the completion of the EMR implementation.
