HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06052012 - C.91RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-977-12 with Diablo Valley Oncology and Hematology Medical Group, a corporation, effective January 1, 2012, to amend Contract #26-977-9 (as amended by #26-977-10 and #26-977-11), to modify payment provision with no change in original Payment Limit of $300,000 and with no change in term of November 1, 2009 through October 31, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I and will reflect an additional rate of $300 per report for peer review reports requested by County. In April 2012, Assignment #26-977-11 County and Pacific Urology agreed to the assignment of the Contract from Pacific Urology to Diablo Valley Oncology and Hematology Medical Group. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-977-12 will allow the Contractor to provide an additional level of services, including performing peer review reports at CCRMC, through October 31, 2012. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Amendment is not approved, the Contractor would not be able to perform peer review reports for the Urology Department at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
