FISCAL IMPACT: $13,900: 100% County Funds BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Board Order is to seek Board approval for the inclusion of a mutual indemnification clause in the agreement. Contractor case management, tracking and reporting software application was developed specifically for use by California counties’ Adult Protective Services (APS) programs. AACTS complies with all State of California reporting requirements and generates all State-mandated reports, including the SOC 242. AACTS management tools include case assignment, overview of caseloads, instant alerting to out-of-compliance tasks, push-button supervisor sign-off, and tickler tools. AACTS is accessed through a Virtual Private Portal (VPP), via a web browser. MMTG has partnered with CareAccess Silicon Valley, Inc., to offer AACTS on a per-user, subscription basis through a VPP that is HIPPA-compliant. Using a portal system reduces initial set-up costs by eliminating the need for investment in hardware, server software, and desktop software. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Employment and Human Services Department will be unable to use this important software application. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: None
