#8611 from 24/40 to 32/40; Increase the hours of Exempt Medical Staff Physician position #8475 from 36/40 to
40/40; and Increase the hours of Exempt Medical Staff Physician #8476 from 32/40 to 36/40.

BACKGROUND:
The request to increase the hours of these three positions is in accordance with the agreement between the County and
Physicians and Dentists of Contra County (PDOCC) which states that, twice per year, permanent intermittent and
part-time employees may request that their position hours be increased. Approval is based on actual hours assigned to
and worked by the employee during the previous 6 months, the anticipated continuing need for additional hours, and
operation requirements. The Health Services Department has reviewed these requests and approved them based on
this criteria.
