HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07102012 - C.95RECOMMENDATION(S): DECLARE and ACCEPT the results of the Primary Election, conducted on June 5, 2012, as on file in the Contra Costa County Elections Division, as recommended by the Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: Elections Code 15372 requires the Elections Official to prepare a certified statement of the results of the election and submit it to the governing body, within 28 days of the election. The June 5, 2012 Primary Election must be officially certified by no later than July 3, 2012. The Statement of Vote to accompany the Agenda will be delivered as soon as our office receives a completed, bound copy. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The folowing list of candidates will not receive official approval and the results of the election will not be declared nor accepted by the governing body.
