HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07102012 - C.90RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chief Information Officer, or designee, to execute a Contract Extension Agreement, with Robert Half International Incorporated, effective July 1, 2011, to extend the term for the period July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: Approximately $300,000 as budgeted in the Health Services Department. BACKGROUND: The Health Services Department is in need of specialized programming services to assist with the implementation of the Epic software system. Due to the temporary nature of this work and the special knowledge required to perform these duties, a contract firm is the optimal approach. Robert Half, Incorporated has a number of such trained staff available immediately to assist. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Failure to properly staff the implementation team using this contract could delay implementation of the Epic project, increase the cost and potentially put the project at risk. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: No impact.
