HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07102012 - C.82RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #23–475-1 with KBR Inc., dba Rash Curtis & Associates, a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $1,100,000 to provide debt collection services for unpaid accounts for the Health Services Department, for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: The Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise I funds. Contractor will be paid on a commission basis for debts it actually collects. (no rate increase) BACKGROUND: On December 14, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-475 with KBR Inc., dba Rash Curtis & Associates to provide debt collection services for unpaid accounts, for services rendered by the Health Services Department, including sending letters, making phone call, reporting to credit bureaus and entering legal proceeding on behalf of County, for the period from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012.
