The Board of Supervisors, as the Governing Board of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District (District) does hereby:
APPROVE and ACCEPT the Grant of Easement from Pleasant Hill Recreation and Parks District (Parks) for ingress
and egress purposes over Parks’ property.
DIRECT the Real Estate Division to have the above referenced Grant of Easement recorded in the office of the
County Recorder.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact

Subject:APPROVE and ACCEPT the Grant of Easement from Pleasant Hill Recreation and Parks District.
BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
Senior Center on the property at 233 Gregory Lane which is adjacent to the Grayson Creek Concrete Channel
(Channel). The District has issued a permit to Parks to do work within the District’s easement in order to construct
a portion of the Senior Center’s parking lot and walkway. As a result of the placement of the Senior Center,
District requires and Parks agrees to provide an additional access easement to the Channel from Patricia Drive and
Gregory Lane.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The District will not have adequate access to the Channel.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not Applicable.
