HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05222012 - C.34RECOMMENDATION(S): ACCEPT the resignation of Nancy Dommes from the Appointee 2 Seat of the County Service Area P-2B Citizens Advisory Committee effective immediately; DECLARE a vacancy on the County Service Area P-2B Citizens Advisory Committee; and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by Supervisor Uilkema. FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: Established on November 18, 1969, by Board Resolution 69/765, the purpose of the County Service Area P-2B Citizens Advisory Committee is to advise the Board of Supervisors and the Sheriff's Department on the needs of the Alamo/Danville community for extended police services which shall include, but not be limited to, enforcement of the State Vehicle Code, crime prevention, and litter control.
