ADOPT Resolution No. 2012/221 honoring Earle Ormiston for his continued work to promote and support
volunteerism and the transportation needs of older Contra Costa residents, as recommended by Employment and
Human Services Interim Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None
BACKGROUND:
Since August of 2007 Earl Ormiston has served as a senior volunteer for the Contra Costa County Advisory Council
on Aging. Mr. Ormiston continues to assist elders through his involvement with the Advisory Council on Aging.
Additionally, Earle continues to pay careful attention to the specific needs of older adults in his home city of Concord.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Mr. Ormiston will not receive Board recognition for his work with the Advisory Council on Aging.
