HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05152012 - C.02 (3)RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Public Works Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Pape Machinery, in an amount not to exceed $140,000, for the purchase of a Front End Loader for Public Works Road Maintenance, Countywide. (100% Local Road Funds) (Project No. 0672-6U2015) FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Local Road Funds. BACKGROUND: To replace existing similar equipment within the Road Fleet used for Maintenance and emergency response on County Roads. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Will not have the equipment necessary when responding to clear emergencies such as accidents and/or landslides on County roads or performing routine road and drainage maintenance activities. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
