HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05222012 - C.01RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to execute the Temporary Construction Permit and
Sidewalk Conform with SVF Oak Road Walnut Creek Corporation, effective August 1, 2012 through December 31,
2012, for the Contra Costa Centre Infrastructure Project, as recommended by the Public Works Director. Project No.:
0662-6R4120
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
Contra Costa County (County) is required to obtain a Temporary Construction Permit and Sidewalk Conform for the
Contra Costa Centre Infrastructure Improvements Project in order to ensure the curb ramps meet current ADA
standards. As a condition of the permit, the Property Owners have required the County to indemnify them. Without
the Property Owner’s approval to remove and replace the sidewalk within their property line, there will be a
difference in the elevation between the existing sidewalk and the improved sidewalk. This project will not proceed
until it is approved by the County Finance Departments.
