HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05082012 - C.96RECOMMENDATION(S):
AUTHORIZE the continuation of administrative services to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, on a
reimbursement basis, for fiscal year 2012/13.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% East Contra Costa Fire Protection District (ECCFPD) funds. The ECCFPD will continue to reimburse the
County for direct and indirect administrative overhead costs.
BACKGROUND:
On October 15, 2009, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2009/940, which authorized a change in the
governance structure of the ECCFPD and provided for a six-month period to transition administrative support
services from the County to the District. Both parties retained the option to continue in the current business
arrangement past the transition period at the expense of the ECCFPD. The County and ECCFPD wish to continue this
arrangement in fiscal year 2012/13.
