HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05082012 - C.90RECOMMENDATION(S): DECLARE as surplus and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to dispose of fully depreciated vehicles no longer needed for public use. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact associated with approval of recommended action. BACKGROUND: Section 1108-2.212 of the County Ordinance Code authorizes the Purchasing Agent to dispose of any personal property belonging to Contra Costa County and found by the Board of Supervisors not to be required for public use. The property for disposal is either obsolete, worn out, beyond economical repair, or damaged beyond repair. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, General Services would not be able to dispose of surplus vehicles. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable.
