HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05082012 - C.79RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute, a purchase order with The Gunlocke Company, in an amount not to exceed $130,000, for bariatric and guest seating for the new West County Health Clinic. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: The new west county clinic will require the purchase of 49 office guest chairs, 148 standard exam chairs, 7 bariatric chairs (total 204 chairs), a white board and miscellaneous items from The Gunlocke Company to outfit patient waiting areas. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Purchase Order is not approved, the new West County Clinic will not have necessary furniture for the patient waiting areas. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
