HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05082012 - C.78RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Arcadia, in an amount not to exceed $140,000, for waiting area seating and tables for the new West County Health Center. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: The new West County Health Clinic will serve the health care needs of West County residents. The Health Services Department needs 140 guest chairs, including 13 bariatric, 6 lounge chairs, 2 benches, as well as 16 square tables, and 9 round tables. This furniture is necessary to outfit the new clinic patient waiting areas. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Purchase Order is not approved, the new West County Clinic will not have necessary furniture for patient waiting areas. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
