HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05082012 - C.63RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #24-610-21 with Stephen D. Rader, MD, a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $218,400, to provide professional psychiatric services for the period from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 16% by the Mental Health Services Act and 84% by Mental Health Realignment, offset by third party revenue. (Rate increased) BACKGROUND: On May 17, 2011, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #24–610–20 with Stephen D. Rader, MD, for the period from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012, for the provision of professional psychiatric services to County patients at the Concord Adult Mental Health Clinic. Approval of Contract #24-610-21 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through May 31, 2013.
