(dba HomeBase), a non-profit corporation, to correct the payment limit to reflect an amount not to exceed $235,000 instead of $215,000, to provide consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard to the planning and resource development, for the period from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 47% by Federal Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA), 44% by budgeted County General funds and 9%, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration – Behavioral Health Adult Court Collaborative (SAMHSA-BHACC). (dba HomeBase) BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Agreement #25–012–23 with The Center for Common Concerns, Inc. (dba HomeBase), for the period from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012, for the provision of consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard to the Continuum of Care planning and resource development, including grant-writing services for County’s McKinney-Vento application. The purpose of this Board Order is to correct the Payment Limit from $215,000 to $235,000, to reflect the intent of the Department, which was that the Contractor to provide consultation and technical assistance to the Department with regard to the Continuum of Care planning and resource development, including grant-writing services for County’s McKinney-Vento application, for the period from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this correction is not approved, County will not be able to pay contractor as agreed upon and will not meet all federal guidelines to secure maximum McKinney-Vento funding required to implement the 10-year plan to eliminate homelessness in Contra Costa County.
