HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05082012 - C.02RECOMMENDATION(S): AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to advertise for On-Call Tree Services Contract(s) for Various Road and Flood Control Maintenance Work, to perform tree related activities along road and flood control facilities, Countywide. (100% Local Road and Flood Control Funds) FISCAL IMPACT: Work performed on this on-call contract will be funded by 100% Local Road and Flood Control Funds. BACKGROUND: The Public Works Department uses On-Call Tree Services Contract(s) for Various Road and Flood Control Maintenance Work to provide supplemental tree services as needed to perform tree related work along road and flood control facilities at various locations within Contra Costa County. The Public Works Department intends to award at least one $110,000 contract, but not more than three $110,000 contracts, to the responsible bidder(s). Each contract will have a term of one year and be used as needed with no minimum amount that has to be spent.
