APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Agricultural Commissioner, or designee, to execute Agreement #12-0006-SA with
the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), in an amount not to exceed $18,300 to reimburse the
County for the Petroleum Products Program, for the period of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This agreement reimburses the County for expenditures incurred July 2, 2012 through June 30, 2013 not to exceed
$18,300.
BACKGROUND:
Gasoline service stations and others selling petroleum products are required by state law to meet advertising and
signage requirements. Service stations are also required to provide water and air free of charge to customers and to
provide handicap service to customers with some exception.
This agreement will reimburse the Department for work done that involves enforcement of these laws.

Failure to accept Agreement #12-0006-SA will mean that the Department will not be reimbursed for performing
