HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07122011 - C.87RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Family Caregiver Alliance, in an amount not to exceed $147,999 for Older American’s Act, Title III-E Family Caregiver Provider Program services in support of older adults and their caregivers and families for the period July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: $147,999: 100% Federal Older American's Act, Title III-E Funding BACKGROUND: The Family Caregiver Alliance provides services to support older adults and their caregivers and families. Services include, but are not limited to, respite, educational training, counseling, home modification, and assisted living devices. Support is also provided to grandparents and relative caregivers providing temporary or permanent custody to a minor child or children.
