APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller, or designee, to pay each of up to eleven (11) In-Home
Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority (PA) Advisory (AC) members $24 per meeting not to exceed three (3)
AC Meetings per month for a 12-month period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 for a total cost for the 11
members not to exceed $9,504 in stipends to defray meeting attendance costs as recommended by the Employment
and Human Services Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$9,504 In-Home Supportive Services Funding, 26.5% County, 26.5% Federal, 47% State
Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) number 93.778
BACKGROUND:
The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authroity (PA) Advisory Council (AC) members currently receive
$24 stipend amounts to attend Advisory Council meetings paid through the Auditor-Controller's Office to defray
attendance costs of members. This board order will continue that process.
