HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04242012 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21076, to add two (2) 20/20 Physical Therapist II (V5VF) positions at salary level QT5 1746 ($6,019-$7,316) and cancel one (1) 40/40 Physical Therapist II position (#8720) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in a net annual cost of $11,650.00, with an annual increased pension cost of $6,972.16, and will be completely funded by 50/50 County and State California Children's Services (CCS) funds. BACKGROUND: The Health Services Department is requesting the addition of these positions in order to meet the staffing needs of the CCS (California Children's Services) Medical Therapy Program. These positions will be responsible for adminstering a variety of physical therapy treatment services for the handicapped pediatric clients of the CCS program. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, the CCS Program will not be able to effectively provide critical therapy services to the handicapped children of Contra Costa County.
